Raiders sign veteran receiver and safety Josh Bellamy to four-year contract extension

The Oakland Raiders have signed veteran receiver Josh Bellam to a four-season contract extension through the 2020 season, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport on Wednesday.

The Raiders had been seeking a veteran wide receiver to fill a wide receiver spot that has been occupied by Golden Tate, Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper.

Bellam is expected to play in both the slot and on the outside, where he was a slot receiver in college at Fresno State.

He has caught 58 passes for 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns over four seasons with the Raiders.
