Which vehicles will be part of the new Tesla vehicle fleet?

Automotive service companies are reporting that Tesla is in talks to acquire some of the company’s fleet of vehicles.

The automaker announced on Tuesday that it had purchased the General Motors-owned fleet of approximately 2,000 vehicles, and that it would soon start selling them on the open market.

Tesla also has plans to sell its battery-powered Model 3 electric sedan and its semi-autonomous Autopilot feature on the Tesla retail site in the U.S. in 2019, a Tesla spokesperson told CNBC.

The automaker has a lot of money in the Tesla Motors division, which is estimated to be worth $100 billion.
