Honda to offer 10,000 Honda Fit cars in U.S. by 2021

Volkswagen AG and Honda Motor Co. said Wednesday that they will begin selling 10,002 Honda Fit electric vehicles in the U.K. by the end of 2021.

The vehicles will be sold by the automaker and Honda, which is launching the Fit in the country with a pilot program.

The U.KS.-based company said the 10,202 EVs will be the first-ever vehicle from the automakers’ global automotive alliance.

The cars will come with an all-electric battery pack and be available in the 2020 model year.

The partnership comes on the heels of a $10 billion investment by Honda, Toyota and Volkswagen.

The carmakers are in the process of making the EVs available in other markets.

In addition to the 10.000 EVs, the automakers are also expanding their automotive alliances.

The Honda group has said it will sell 5,000 electric vehicles for its dealers in the next three years, with an eye to selling about 10,500 in 2021.

It also is building a fleet of more than 500 hybrid vehicles for the same dealership.

Honda said it was also expanding its presence in Asia with its partnership with the Hyundai Motor Corp. to create more than 2,000 jobs in the region.
