The service has three levels of eligibility: The Bachelor’s program allows students to start the process with a $5 payment, or to pay the car’s maintenance and repairs for up to three years and complete a full car restoration.
Those students who complete a car restoration will earn a certificate that will entitle them to the BSB, or Bachelor’s Student Service B.U.B. certificate.
The Bachelor and Bachelor’s degree students who pay a full or partial car restoration earn their certificate for two years and receive an entry-level job offer from the BBA, which then earns a certificate for up the length of their employment.
To qualify, a student must have earned an undergraduate degree in automotive engineering and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
The Master’s program, where students complete a $30,000 car restoration, earns their certificate and receives a $50,000 job offer.
Students who complete full car restores earn their B.M. or M.B., respectively, with the Master of the Bachelor’s Degree program.
To get a full B.O. degree, a B.B.-certified student must also complete a five-year bachelor’s or higher degree program at a post-secondary institution.
The job offers are limited, but they are often competitive and offer good salary opportunities.
